Board Member Elections and Annual Meeting

Elections for new board members will be from January 15 thru Febuary 15 at the credit union office.
The annual meeting will be at the Sylvania Branch Library on March 16, 2010 at 5:30pm.

Shared Branching is Here!
|
Over 3500 credit union branches are now available to you, to conduct your
credit union transactions. The following transactions are available
to you at any shared branching location:
- Make Deposits(checks deposited may not always be available for immediate access)
- Cash personal checks on another institution
- Transfer monies from one account to another Obtain balance inquiries
- Process loan payments
- Obtain balance inquiries
- Withdraw funds cash
SAFCU is now a member of the shared branching network, a fast growing
national and international network of credit unions that allow members of other credit
unions to use their branches to conduct basic teller transactions. The shared branching
network currently consists of thousands of locations nationwide, and hundreds in Ohio.
Look for the swirl! When conducting a transaction at a shared branching
location, provide the host credit unions staff with your convenient ID
card, member account number and photo ID. Search for convenient
shared branching locations with the shared branching website
www.sharedbranching.org. Also, with the H1N1 flu virus
threating to strike the area, now may be the best time to sign up

2010 Scholarships Available
|
|
College costs are increasing rapidly and making it impossible for
young people to attend college. SAFCU is offering for 2010 a
$1000 and a $500 scholarship for graduating seniors. Applicants
can pick up a packet at the credit union and return it by March 15,
2010.
The Northwest Chapter of Credit Unions is also offering scholarships
of $2000 and $2500 to be awarded on state level. Applications
for the chapter scholarship must be in by February 12, 2010.
