Sylvania Area Federal Credit Union was organized by teachers of the Sylvania School system in the 1960's. Sylvania City employees joined SAFCU in the 1970's and the township of Sylvania joined Sylvania Area Federal Credit Union in the 1980's; in 2002 the Credit Union expanded to the community. If you live, work, go to school, volunteer in the Sylvania area, you are eligible to be a member. Your friends, neighbors and co-workers sit on the board of directors and have your needs in mind. Our credit union services are designed especially for you. When you do business with the Sylvania Area Federal Credit Union, you become a member of a unique group.

Making payments to Sylvania Area Federal Credit Union can be set up to be paid through a payroll deposit. This can assist in making sure all your loan payments are made on time.
